Not so sure what your Love Language is? That’s okay, I didn’t know for the longest time. I mean, I suspected, but I wasn’t entirely sure.  If you’re in the same boat as me, or if perhaps you can’t decide between two (or three), a quiz might be the right next step for you!

Below is a quiz adapted from Gary Chapman’s book, “The Five Love Languages.” It is designed to help you to understand the in which you best receive (and give) love.

Now that you’re finished, count the number of times you wrote down each letter.  One of them should seem more dominant than the others. That one will be your love language!!

Mostly A’s: Words of Affirmation

Mostly B’s: Quality Time

Mostly C’s: Receiving Gifts

Mostly D’s: Acts of Service

Mostly E’s: Physical Touch

(I will be profiling each love language individually.  As I do, I will link to each post. Make sure you check it out to find out more about YOUR Love Language!)

Feel free to share what Love Language you are! The questions in the previous post helped me figure out that my Love Language was most likely “Quality Time,” but the quiz definitely confirmed it!  I scored 12 B’s, where everything else was a lot less. I scored 5 A’s, C’s, & E’s, and only 3 D’s. DEFINITELY quality time! :)

I hope this helps you! Let me know how you did!

Keep on Striving,

Heather :)

  1. My love languages were split between Quality Time and Acts of Service almost exactly (B:10, D:11). I hope I’m not a freak! I actually found that hard to do because I may have been thinking more along the lines of what do I want more that I don’t feel I get enough of.

  2. I am Physical Touch. I always thought I was because I absolutely adore hugs and kisses from my husband! Just for him to sit there and cuddle with me or for him to want to hold my hand in the store means so much to me. I don’t have any C’s but I had 6 on B,A, and D. Thanks for the quiz though, it was pretty helpful to me.

  3. Took the quiz. My love language is quality time. Love to just spend time with Patrick, even if it’s just watching tv together or sharing my day over dinner. Next highest was words of affirmation. I enjoy being appreciated. The other three were kind of low on the totem pole. Good quiz to take. Thanks.

  4. Wow, I always thought I was physical touch and words of affirmation was a close second. Recently, my husband told me he thought I was quality time. I decided to take this test. I thought those 3 would be very close, but my score was
    Quality Time-12!!!
    Physical Touch-6
    Words of Affir-6
    Acts of Service-3
    Gifts-0

    This explains why I don’t feel that loved even if DH has spent a lot of time touching me. I need the undivided attention!

  5. Wow. Now i’m confused. 10, 8, 8 (Words, Quality, Physical). Is this because I’m having a rough time in my marriage or because I’m not really sure what I need regardless of the state of my marriage? Myabe I should get the book lol

  6. I just finished reading this book and thought it was absolutely amazing! I was just thinking about adding this book to my blog site as well!

  7. My husband and I are separated now but still see each other and trying to work it out. I decided I should take the test and I had E-10, B-9, A-6, and D-5 no C’s.
    Physical touch and quality time are important and now I realize that work had taken a big strain on our marriage and now it is like dating again and hopefully back together and being remimded of \till death do us part.\

  8. My love language was expected.
    A - 9
    B – 7
    C – 1
    D – 7
    E – 6
    D kind of suprised me at first, but I must admit. I do find myself doing lots of things for the man I love, even things I really don’t feel like I want to and I know it’s just because I love him so!

  9. A = 8
    b = 8
    c = 2
    d = 7
    e = 5

    yessss!

  10. My top was definitely touch!

    Touch(E)- 11
    Quality Time(B)-6
    Acts of service(D)-6
    Words of affirmation(A)-5
    Receiving gifts(C)-2

    I guess this explains how my husband will put so much effort into finding a flawless gift, and yes even though I find it terrific, I would rather just sit and snuggle with him on the couch. He will get me something cute and fun, but I’d rather just be in his arms. Thank you so much for this eye-opening quiz. It has answered many questions!

  11. what happens if u get 8A’s 7B’s 7C’s 0D’s and 8E’s?

  12. A-6
    B-7
    C-0
    D-6
    E-10

  13. i had no E’s!! lol My husband is overly affectionate, and after 10 years, its not that i am not affectionate but that i get it too much, its annoying…I think circumstance with the life partner, plays a huge part in it all.

  14. well it say mine is D-11, A-6, B-7, C-5. I have always been the person that gives gift to my husband and he would rather have affection. ( physical touch).

  15. Im a 17 year old guy…
    A-6
    B-7
    C-0
    D-6
    E-10

  16. I am a happily newly wed.
    A-6
    B-10
    C-1
    D-7
    E-5

  17. i always thought my love language would be quality time. now it was just confirmed. I recommend this to everyone.
